This book is the culmination of a five-year project called I Remember Radio, which began on Facebook and YouTube. The project brought together people who worked in radio during the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, capturing hours of video and countless unforgettable stories.
Inside, you’ll find some of the best tales shared in my conversations with radio professionals from that golden era. While some stories are cleverly disguised, others are entirely anonymous—intentionally so. Many contributors shared their experiences on the condition that they couldn’t be traced back to them.
